Important Ever Surf Updates - switch to the Surf desktop app ASAP!

Dear friends,

This is critical information!

Suppose you're using the Ever Surf web wallet. If that’s the case, then we strongly recommend replacing it with the Ever Surf desktop app as soon as possible!
Recently, Check Point Research (CPR) discovered a vulnerability in the web version wallet. An attacker could gain complete control over the wallet and all stored funds by exploiting this. CPR collaborated with the Everscale and Ever Surf teams, which acknowledged the vulnerability.
The Surf web version was an experimental solution. Unfortunately, now the web version no longer meets the requirements for fast and secure applications.

The Ever Surf team asks you to download and install the desktop app, because Ever Surf will be disabling the web version.

After installation, you will have to restore access to your assets using a seed phrase. If you haven’t saved your seed phrase already, do this as soon as possible following these instructions.
Since the Ever Surf team doesn't collect any data, we need to inform as many community members as possible so that no one's assets are at risk. Please share this with your friends and other community members and help them migrate to the desktop app.

Remember, DO NOT share your seed phrase with anyone!
DO NOT store your seed phrase in a text file or somewhere on your computer.

Please only store your seed phrase by writing it down on paper, in a notebook, etc. Also, be aware that admins and community managers will NEVER DM you to ask for seed phrases!
Don't click on unknown URLs from unknown people. Turn off the auto-download function on Telegram. Nobody can protect you from malware, and it is your responsibility alone to keep your antivirus software and OS up-to-date.

However, all the same, everyone needs to be very careful in the digital era. Even antivirus software cannot stop you from visiting phishing sites or opening malware on your computer.
All transactions in the blockchain are immutable, so we have to take care of ourselves and educate ourselves and people from our inner circles.
